Chris Jones

Chris Jones started his career while attending the University of Alabama working as a computer technician in the Business School and network administrator for the College of Human Environmental Sciences. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics minor, he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force where he successively managed the computer network for the Air Force Academy, program co-managed a software program that delivered personnel and materials to forward operating locations, and finally managed the Air Force secure and unsecure world-wide networks in his 7-year career.

The next phase of Chris's career was in the public sector where he was a Information Technology Director for an alternative investments company, a senior technology manager focused on discovering and implementing new technologies for a $5B industrial distributor, and then again as an IT Director for a regional homebuilder before starting Rezenent in 2016.

Throughout his career, he has steadily focused on security and data analytics:

  • Building numerous custom dashboards for executives, operating teams, and finance team to view real-time performance and aid in making strategic business decisions
  • Managing eCommerce using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Adwords, Optimizely, SpyFu, and Moz
  • Analyzing and recommending eCommerce actions based on website trends
  • Creating new workflow applications for field audit, wire transfer processing, quote generation, job costing calculation, highly customized CRM application
  • Developing several startups, one of which was Sentigrade.io that provided textual sentiment analysis. It was initially developed for a Raving Fan, Net Promoter score custom application
  • Conducts Security Incident Response and Penetration Testing on a contract basis for organizations large and small
